As I said back in September, the smartest business move I ever made was starting my own business. And it only gets better every day! You are absolutely right that this is the best time to make the move – find something you can be excited about; and something that is easy to get into, doesn’t require a huge investment, and has little or no overhead. In other words, the homebased business is perfect for young moms, people with full time unsatisfying JOBS, and retirees. Then plan to work hard and smart and enjoy amazing rewards.

I love this! So yes, we need to “feel the fear and do it anyway” in order to move forward as individuals, but what you have done is the beginning of what we all need to do in order to move the world to a better place: we need to take note and then celebrate our successes. Recognizing the strong voices among us will be the catalyst for adding more voices to the mix. Thanks so much for this story!

Why would the writers of this site encourge woman to make a change for woman rights and not everyone male or female. But with that being said I hope to see more writing from Stephine or Mel which ever one wrote this.

She is absolutely spot on! Going into business for myself was the smartest financial move I have made. Control during times of uncertainty is important for emotional and physical health and now I control my time and my financial future. What I wanted was something with low investment, no overhead and unlimited income potential doing something that I love and that benefits others. I found it and I know that others can do the same if they want to. It’s a matter of keeping the mind and both eyes open to opportunity and there are plenty out there even in this economic winter.
